Hello, my name is Elizabeth Vela Aca. I am a first-year student at IUPUI and plan on majoring in Nursing. Some interest I have include listening to music, traveling, and shopping. Over the years of working some skills I caught on were communication and organization. If I were to describe my personality it would be outgoing and kind.
An experience that shaped me to who I am include struggling financially and watching my parents suffer. Watching them struggle to pay bills at times made me want to work harder for them so one day I would financially be able to provide for them and give them everything in return. Another experience that shaped me was joining my middle school track team. The team really pushed my limits and made me realize all potential I had. As long as I tried my hardest it was enough.
